Gyptogerman Skunk rifle
Shot of the barrel assembly during construction....OG M72 barrel, turned down for the Egyptian FSB and the mystery gas block.
CSS bolt on handguard retainer had to be used because of barrel profile.
Later pic of the gun after assembly...unfortunately the one I had of the buttstock being made are lost somewhere.
Buttstock was DOM tubing, profiled to mimic the Valmet tubefolder. Buttplate was cut off a tantal sidefolder and tigged on.
The butt was milled out to take a 4.5 stock adapter. Furniture is EG bakelite lower, Romanian AIMR upper, and matching Romanian bakelite grip.
Another shot of the stock folded
Another shot of the front end....

Closeup of M72 barrel fins and gas block. Gas block is off a norinco hunter.
It all started with a unissued numbers matching maddi kit and a childers egyptian marked 4.5 sidefolder receiver
