A question we get quite often is whether someone needs a double hook trigger cut for their build. The difference in this cut is in the name, the majority of triggers have a single hook, while some have double, similarly your receiver/blank will have one cut for one hook, while a double hook receiver will have two cuts. A single hook trigger can be used in a double hook receiver, but a double hook trigger can't be used (as is) in a single hook receiver.
Earlier AKs had double hook triggers as a redundancy measure if one broke, however, this was found to be unnecessary and the design was changed to single hook. This was revived in a few aftermarket trigger designs, so base your choice on what trigger you plan to use, whether the one in your kit, or what you might want to install instead.
