To view the status of your order(s) or order history, go to the Childers Guns store page and login to your account as normal. (This only applies if you used an account when you made the order, if not, call or email us to get the status of your order)
Once logged in, go to your account and then order history, or use the order history button at the bottom of any page.
From here you have an overview of your orders, but for more detail click on the icon of a page with the magnifying glass on the right side.
Here you get a detailed overview of your order number, date, payment type, addresses, the options you selected and the costs adding up to the total (including coupons if you had one)
Scrolling down on this page shows you the status of your order - with various updates as it passes through all applicable stations, as well as the serial number (blue rectangle).
Some custom receivers have more or less steps - reinforcement plates are another step, blanks without any engraving or notches wont need those steps, all leading up to QA and final processing as it ships.
The status updates are as follows:
Customization Started - Order printed and a treated and welded receiver sent to machining
Customization Complete - Custom options finished machining
Engraving Ready (if applicable) - Sent to engraving
Engraving Complete (if applicable) - All custom engravings or serial numbers completed
Reinforcement Plate (if applicable) - Reinforcement plate spotwelded to reciever if option chosen
QA Ready - Sent to Quality Assurance
QA Complete - Receiver checked to have all the proper customization and machining
Processed - Ready to package and ship
When shipped you will automatically receive an email with the tracking number.
