First, if your kit is being built by someone else, don't get trunnion holes unless that builder asked specifically for the trunnions holes to be drilled by us.
Q: Will the trunnion rivet holes line up with my kit's holes?
A:
Possibly, possibly not, the nature in which the trunnion rivet holes are drilled originally combined with the fact that the kits came from many different countries and from many different years, means there will be variation in the location of these holes on the trunnion. To aid in the fitment of the these holes we drill them to a smaller size, that you can fit to your kit's holes.

Q: Why are the trunnion rivet holes undersized?
A:
With the variation that comes with the trunnion holes they are undersized to help with fitment. If the holes in your blank/receiver line up with your kit's holes, then just drill them to the correct size for your kit and rivet. If the holes in your blank/receiver don't line up file them to the correct location and size, then rivet.
