Ordering a receiver on the website (Any FFL item) without delay

Failure to follow these guidelines will result in order delays

Unsure or nervous about ordering a firearm online? (Any receiver, marked as an FFL item)

(FFL stands for Federal Firearms License; any dealer of firearms, like a pawn or gunshop, will have one)

Here is a quick guide to purchasing your item and having it shipped to your local FFL, but first, some quick tips:

•  It is up to you to insure that all local, state and federal laws are observed.
•  You must make arrangements with your Local FFL Dealer before buying an FFL regulated item. 
•  You must be able to pass a background check.
•  We need a copy of your FFL dealer’s license before we can ship an order.

Find a local FFL of your choice, and contact them to ensure they do firearms transfers and what fee they will charge (generally 20-50$). You may want to take consideration of their hours or availability as well.

Add your FFL item/Receiver to your cart and begin checking out as normal.

When you reach the billing address fields, uncheck the box for same delivery and billing address

Fill out your billing address with your normal billing address.

For Delivery Details, Fill it out with your FFL's address

Checkout as normal, you will receive an order confirmation email.

•  Email (or have your dealer email) a copy of the FFL license to: sales@childersguns.com. Make sure you include your order number and/or customer name IN THE SUBJECT OF THE EMAIL.

Once your order is complete, and we have verified the FFL, we can ship your order.

Your FFL should notify you of its arrival and when it is available for pick up; there you will fill out a federal background check (form 4473), as well as any state specific paperwork and FFL fee.
