This week we bring a 9x39 Reciever out to show, starting with Russian selector markings and angled notches, and up front we have the OTS-14 marking as well as a custom serial number in the hand engraved style.
I want to take a moment to explain this a bit more for those who don't know:
The OTS-14 used a designation for the model and its caliber (In this case the OU-14-4A), followed by a serial number marked by hand on the right side of it. This was formatted as "N000". This is why we have the hand engraved option for 9x39 receivers, so should you desire you can have one styled after it - we have specifically created the numbers for the font used in this option to replicate the original hand engravings. Here is our example from our news post:

Something to note is the OTS-12 rifles did not have this style of engraving. Many of the pictures online of the OTS-14 also have this number blurred out if you closely inspect. If you are looking to do a historical OTS-12 or OTS-14 build - here is a quick tip - they were built off already existing AKS-74U rifles, so start with the same options for building one of those.
